engo3 Cyclist brings real time data into your line of sight, built for the demands of road and gravel riding. Its wide mask design pairs with Garmin Varia radar integration to show approaching vehicles as you ride, helping you stay aware of what's behind you without breaking focus or form.
Power zones, speed, and ride metrics stay visible exactly where you need them, so you can keep your eyes on the road and your effort where it belongs. The photochromic lens adapts automatically to changing light, from bright midday sun to overcast skies, so you're always seeing clearly.
Radar data screen: a graphical representation of the road behind you. Each icon represents an approaching vehicle, moving up the screen as it nears you, positioned relative to your location.
The radar device with engo can improve situational awareness. It is not a replacement for cyclist attentiveness and good judgment. Always maintain awareness of your surroundings and operate the bicycle in a safe manner. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or death.

Will I even notice a difference?

Is setup complicated? I'm not tech-savvy.
Apple Watch: Download ActiveLook app, pair your glasses, done. The ActiveLook companion app installs automatically on your watch. Start a run and your metrics appear.
Garmin: Download Engo App (engo3) or ActiveLook app (engo2), pair and setup your HUD glasses, then add the engo or ActiveLook datafield from Connect IQ to one of your activity screens. Launch your run and everything connects automatically.
Total time: 2-3 minutes. Easier than programming a new workout.
What if I don't like it?
30 days. Train with it. Race with it. If it doesn't transform your running, return it free. We take the risk so you don't have to.
I'm farsighted / wear prescription glasses. Will this work for me?
If you struggle to see your watch screen up close, this is where engo becomes a game-changer. The display projects 3-5 meters ahead - perfectly readable without squinting, tilting, or fumbling for reading glasses mid-run.
For other vision corrections, contact lenses are required.

I have a Coros/Polar watch. Will it work?
engo is fully compatible with Garmin (all recent Forerunner, Fenix, Epix series) and Apple Watch (Series 4+). engo2 offers partial compatibility with Suunto.
Coros and Polar would need to develop support on their end - let them know you want it!
About Varia Radar : Do I need engo3 Cyclist specifically, or does this work on any engo3 ?
Radar integration runs on the full engo3 platform, not just engo3 Cyclist. engo3 Cyclist adds a wider frame built for road and gravel positions, but the radar feed itself works the same way across the engo3 range.
Does engo3 improve my radar's range or refresh rate ?
No. engo3 displays exactly what your Garmin device already computes. Range, refresh rate, and detection distance are determined by your radar and your Garmin device, not by your glasses.
Can I use a non-Varia ANT+ radar ?
Yes, as long as your Garmin Edge or Watch recognizes it as a Radar sensor and displays a radar data field on its own. engo3 reads that same field regardless of the radar brand.
What if my radar shows up on my Garmin but not in my HUD ?
In the engo app, check that the Bike Radar toggle is turned on in My screen set, that your engo3 is paired to the same Garmin Edge or Watch your radar is connected to, and that you're on the latest engo3 software.
