Vicky: Founder of Fit and Sweet, on the Road to All Six World Marathon Majors
This year marks a new chapter in Vicky's athletic journey: one driven by discipline, purpose, and the dream of completing all six World Marathon Majors. After crossing finish lines in Paris and Berlin, her focus now is on continuing to evolve as both a runner and an athlete. Each race teaches her something new about resilience, mindset, and the power of consistent work.
The next targets
Her immediate goals are performance based, but deeply personal: 3:40 at the London Marathon, and 3:30 at the New York City Marathon. Both targets represent more than numbers. They symbolize years of self-discipline, healing, and growth. Vicky believes every marathon reflects not only months of training, but also the story behind why you run.
Why she runs
Running changed her life. It helped her rebuild her body and her confidence after facing hormonal and emotional challenges years ago. That transformation became the foundation of her wellness brand, Fit and Sweet, which today promotes a balanced lifestyle through healthy eating and movement.
Inside the training block
Vicky trains five to six days a week, combining running sessions, speed work, long runs, and recovery, with strength and mobility training. This year, she has also started preparing for her first triathlon, incorporating swimming and cycling into her routine. Her long-term goal is to complete a Half Ironman, bringing together endurance, strength, and mental focus in a new way.
Training with engo
Vicky has been using engo eyewear for the past few months, and it has become a game changer. She wears it mainly during key running sessions: speed workouts, tempo runs, and long runs, as well as cycling and brick training for her triathlon prep. The metrics she monitors most are pace, heart rate, and cadence, which help her stay within the correct training zones and optimize her effort throughout each workout. During long runs, engo helps her maintain a steady aerobic pace without overexerting. During intervals, it helps her hit target splits without ever looking down.
In her own words:
“One of the biggest advantages is mental. ENGO keeps me present and consistent. It's helped me develop a better connection between data and body awareness. I sync my ENGO before every key session, pre-set my data screens for pace, heart rate, and lap time, and use post-run reflections to compare perceived effort versus actual numbers. Since incorporating ENGO, I've noticed a significant improvement in both focus and pacing consistency. Having real-time data directly in my field of vision allows me to stay fully engaged. I no longer lose rhythm checking my watch or guessing my effort level.”

What's changed
The biggest change has been in efficiency and awareness. Vicky controls her effort better during long runs and speed sessions, and maintains optimal heart rate zones with precision. She finishes workouts stronger, with more energy and more confidence in her progress. For her, engo has elevated performance by helping her train smarter, not harder.
Beyond times and medals, Vicky's ultimate goal is consistency: keep showing up, keep improving, and maintain a balance between performance and well-being. Through her social media community, she shares the process honestly, the highs, the challenges, and the lessons learned, so others feel empowered to chase their own goals.
Her advice to athletes on the fence
“It completely changes the way you train. Once you find your preferred data setup, it becomes second nature. ENGO helps build a stronger awareness between body and metrics, a game changer for endurance athletes and beginners alike. Once you try ENGO, you won't want to go back.”

The Oakley Meta Vanguard is a general-purpose smart glasses product with a built-in camera and Meta AI, giving you sport stats through voice commands or audio rather than a visual display, with about 9 hours of battery life.
