Your coach is already in your glasses

The best thing about training with a coach isn't the plan.
It's the voice in your ear during the third interval, when your legs are telling you to back off and your pace is slipping and you need someone to tell you: you're still in it, hold the zone.
Most of us don't have that. We have a watch. We glance down, lose focus, glance again. We finish the interval not quite sure if we nailed it or let it go. The result is we feel insecure about the quality of execution, and it makes the workouts frustrating and inefficient.
That changes with the new Workout Mode in engo3.
Note: this mode is only available with Garmin. If you train with Apple Watch, it is not yet available due to a watchOS constraint. We are working with Apple to remove it and will keep you updated as it evolves.
What Workout Mode does
Load any structured session, warm-up, intervals, fartlek, recovery, cool-down, and your engo3 becomes the coach you never had on the track. Every step of your workout appears right in front of you: what you're doing now, what's coming next, how far you've gone.
Any workout built in Garmin, or coming from an app connected to Garmin such as Runna, TrainingPeaks, or Zwift, works and displays your workout in your engo3 glasses. You have nothing to manage in the engo app, nothing to worry about, the glasses detect the workout in your Garmin and switch automatically into Workout Mode.
And the live gauge tells you in real time whether you're in the zone, pushing too hard, or leaving time on the table. No glancing down. No guessing. Just run.

Every phase of your session, covered
Warm-up. Your engo3 displays your target pace or heart rate right in front of you from the first stride. Ease in at the right intensity, not too fast, not too slow. Every great session starts the right way.
Intervals and fartlek. This is where the work happens. The live gauge tells you exactly where you stand, step by step. Hit the zone. Make every interval count.
Recovery. Don't let recovery become junk miles, and don't let it become a rest stop either. Your engo3 keeps your recovery pace and heart rate on target so you arrive at the next interval ready to go again.
Cool-down. Bring it back down gradually. The gauge stays with you to the last stride, because how you finish matters too.
The takeaway
From warm-up to cool-down, engo3 guides you through every step. You just run.
Discover engo3

Everything runners ask, answered.
Will I even notice a difference?
The engo3 uses fixed tinted lenses (category 3), perfect for very sunny conditions. The engo3 Photochromic features photochromic lenses that automatically adapt to light levels (cat. 0 to 3), making it ideal for changing light conditions.
Is engo3 compatible with Garmin?
Yes it is, with over 81+ models of Garmin devices, plus Apple Watch.
How is engo3 different from Meta Oakley Vanguard?
engo3 is a pure performance display built for serious runners and cyclists: a lightweight AR heads-up display (38.5g) that projects your stats (pace, heart rate, cadence, and more) right in your line of sight, with 20+ hours of battery life and no camera, music, or notifications to distract you.
The Oakley Meta Vanguard is a general-purpose smart glasses product with a built-in camera and Meta AI, giving you sport stats through voice commands or audio rather than a visual display, with about 9 hours of battery life. In short: engo3 keeps your eyes on the road and your data always visible, Vanguard is a multitasking device where sport is one feature among many.
How long does the engo3 battery last?
24+hours
Can I use engo3 for trail running or ultras?
Yes!
Does engo3 have a camera?
No, engo3 doesn't have a camera. It's built purely as a data display: no camera, no music, no notifications, just your real-time stats (pace, heart rate, cadence, etc.) projected in your field of view. That's a deliberate choice to keep it light (38.5g) and focused on performance rather than content capture.
What is the weight of engo3?
38.5 gr
